Unclaimed Unemployment Funds in Chile Exceed 156 Billion Pesos: How Beneficiaries (Retired People and Deceased Affiliates) Can Access Them

As of January 2025, unclaimed balance in unemployment funds of retired or deceased affiliates has reached 156,051 million Chilean pesos, according to the Superintendency of Pension (SP). This amount corresponds to 482,033 individuals, with an average of 323,735 pesos per person. Specifically, 106,161.2 million correspond to already retired people, while 49,889.8 million belong to deceased individuals.

To ensure proper oversight of these funds, the Superintendency of Pensions has implemented measures to facilitate their withdrawal. If you are an affiliate or a relative of a deceased person, you can check the available balance and request a withdrawal using the following online tools:
